Helambu Trek Introduction

Helambu Trek is the easiest and short trek located in the Langtang region and Langtang national park area. This area is filled with natural beauties of flora, fauna, forests, lake, glaciers, waterfalls, bridges, and a fantastic view of the Himalayas and hills. Trekking in this area will let you interact with the mixed culture of vibrant Nepalese and Tibetans.
Local people here mainly follow Buddhism as their religion but we can see the high influence of Tibetan culture in them. We will get to experience Tamang and Sherpa communities and mix culture and tradition in-between them. You can also exploit the rich Hyolmo culture and tradition of the Mountain people. The main attractions of this place are the majestic view of the snow-capped Mountains, Bamboo forests, Rhododendrons, rugged rocks, and grassy downs.
Even though the view of the Mountains would not be as spectacular as that of Annapurna, You will still witness the most beautiful view and collect an immense amount of memory through this trek.

Helambu Trek can be easily done from Kathmandu valley. After an hour of drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (26Km) to the Northeast, we will reach Sivapuri National park. From there our journey will start. This trek can be easily done from 6-10 days. For those with a little amount of time to trek, this place will be the perfect one.
Trails to this place are much easier and anyone without experience in trekking can effortlessly complete this journey. This trek can be also customized as per the willingness of the customer. This area has a warmer temperature with fewer climbing landscapes.
The elevations are low as well so we don’t have to worry about altitude sickness or any other kinds of health problems. Also, you will get the opportunity to visit famous cultural and traditional Durbar squares, monuments, stupas, and temples around Kathmandu city. You will be happy to taste the authentic Nepali foods during your trek to Helambu.
