Budget Tour to Lasha Introduction

The Kathmandu Lhasa Group Tour, also known as the Tibet Overland Tour, maybe Tibet’s budget tour. Kathmandu is the departure point of the small group tour of Kathmandu Lhasa. Tibet Budget Tour a fixed departure group from Kathmandu Nepal runs every Saturday to join the Tibet tour. The Kerung boarder enters the tour as an overland tour.
The itinerary includes Tibet’s famous historical cities – Lhasa, Shigatse, and Tingri at the Everest viewpoint. The easiest season for this tour is from April until November. You can choose your own Tibet tour, customize your itinerary and select your own date. With any group size, the Tibet permit and visa are feasible.
Everest Hike will offer you the best itinerary at a reasonable price. We are forming a gaggle of 6 to 12 individuals collecting clients from different nationals on this Budget Tibet overland tour. We regularly depart from Kathmandu on our fixed departure dates for the Tibet overland tour.
This is usually a drive-in/flight-out tour and vice versa. There is no need to fly back from Lhasa to Kathmandu at the top of this tour.

It is also possible to train from Lhasa to any of China’s cities. Before the Tibet overland tour, you would like to learn about Tibet. If you take over a train or flight to China, we will cause you to separate Tibet China paper group visas.

Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01: Travel to Kerung (140 Km - 7 Hours) and Kerung Tibet 2,900m Overnight at Kerung
  • Day 02: Travel to Tingri from Kerung (225km-7 hours) (4,300m)
  • Day 03: Travel to Shigatse (244 km-8 hours) and Hotel 3,900 m overnight.
  • Day 04: Tashilampo Monatery in Shigatse (90km-2 hours) visit and Travel to Gyantse.
  • Day 05: Travel through Yamdrok Lake to Lhasa (262 km 6/7 hours) Overnight at a suitable 3,650 m hotel
  • Day 06: Lhasa City Sightseeing. Visit the Palace of Potala, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Night in a hotel
  • Day 07: Sightseeing in Lhasa for the second day. Visit Serah Monastery and the Monastery of Drepung. Night in a hotel.
  • Day 8: Departure from Lhasa

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Travel to Kerung (140 Km - 7 Hours) and Kerung Tibet 2,900m Overnight at Kerung

Today is the first day of the trip. Today you will have a small get-together at Thamel. After that, you will start driving early in the morning. Galchhi-Trisuli-Betrawoti-Dhunche and Shyaprubesi Road is a 7-hour drive. The scenic drive through local villages and the park of Langtang. Together with your luggage, wander around for 20 minutes to cross Nepal Tibet immigration. You’re going to meet a Tibetan guide and we’re going to drive to Tibet’s Kerung site.

Day 02: Travel to Tingri from Kerung (225km-7 hours) (4,300m)

Driving today is through Tibet’s highest plateau with scenic mountain views including Everest, Xishapangma, and Cho Oyu at 4,600 miters, as well as beautiful Peikhu Tso Lake. Reach Tingri and enjoy an evening view of the northern side of Everest.

Day 03: Travel to Shigatse (244 km-8 hours) and Hotel 3,900 m overnight.

Driving through scenic mountains and beautiful lakes. The driving road passes a number of incredibly beautiful high passes, including the highest Gyatshu La (5,200m). The second-largest city and the seat of western Tibet are known as Shigatse. Walk around the city tonight.

Day 04: Tashilampo Monatery in Shigatse (90km-2 hours) visit and Travel to Gyantse.

Today will be one of the exciting days. Today you will visit Tashilampo Monastery in Shigatse after breakfast at a hotel. You will notice that Monastery is situated within the hill of the city and was founded in 1447 by the first Dalai Lama. A short drive to Gyantse and a beautiful visit to Khumbu Stupa and Phalkor Monastery. Get around walking in the night.

Day 05: Travel through Yamdrok Lake to Lhasa (262 km 6/7 hours) Overnight at a suitable 3,650 m hotel

The drive from Gyantse to the beautiful city of Lhasa is picturesque via several of Tibet’s highest passes. 5,010 miters of Karola Pass, and 4,749 miters of Khambala Pass, from where you can see panoramic mountains in clear weather. On the way, the gorgeous Yamdrok Lake is another highlight today. Reaching Lhasa and moving to a hotel.

Day 06: Lhasa City Sightseeing. Visit the Palace of Potala, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Night in a hotel

Our guide will guide you to the greatest attraction. Visit Lhasa’s major historical places. Visit Potala Palace-Dalai Lama Palace, Jokhnag Temple, and walk around Lhasa Barkhor Bazaar’s old town. Returning to the hotel and staying overnight at Hotel.

Day 07: Sightseeing in Lhasa for the second day. Visit Serah Monastery and the Monastery of Drepung. Night in a hotel.

Drive to Sera Monastery, the Tibetan Buddhist University, and its house of over 3,000 monks after breakfast at the hotel. You’ll explore the activities around the monks. Another visit is to Drepung Monastery, one of Tibet’s “great three” Gelug University Gompas. The other two are the Monastery of Ganden and the Monastery of Sera. Back to the hotel and time off.

Day 8: Departure from Lhasa

Departure finale from Lhasa. Take a drop at either Gonggar Airport or Lhasa Railway Station. However, according to the previous records, it is found that many tourists prefer to travel from here to China or fly back to Kathmandu, Nepal. It even has the choice to repel Nepal from Kathmandu by the same route. Transportation to Kerung Boarder from Kathmandu.
