  Its been a dream for me to trek in the solukhumbu region for years.the trek begins with a fligh to lukla from ram e chap airport situated about 150 km... read more from katmandu.its 15 mon flight to lukla and then the trek statrted.Reached namche bazar after a hectic 18.5 km ups and down.stayed two nights for acclimatization and went for a acclimatization hike to hotel everest view.
At day 3 we reached at pangboche for a walk of around 6 hours from namche bazar.u can have a look at amadablam base camp from pangboche.its tiresome yet a lovely place to be in.
After a walk about 5 hours we set our sail to dingboche for two nights to get acclimatized.the next day we sumited the nag arjuna peak at 5010 meter and came to our base at dingboche.
Day6 started with a mesmerizing view of amadablam all the way to Tukla,from tukla to lobuche its a human gus task to ascend,it takes nearly 1.30 hr for us to go up to the height of lobuche.Here we found lots of memory stone and epitaph constructed by the near and dear ones of many climbers who lost their lives during theie attempt to reach various destinations.lobuche is the place where we first started to get the vibe of Everest a little.
We continue our journey to gorakshep on day 7 and then went on for our dream destination Everest basecamp.The day was sunny as ever u can get.soon we begin to sense the everest it become dark and all on a sudden blizzard started.we were in EBC nearly blind folded.we had to come back sooner than we wanted due to the harsh weather.With having seen all the adverse nature eventually we came back to our base gorakshep and at night the sky was so clear and it was full moon too,so i tried my luck with the go pro long exposure and got some mesmerising photograph.

From airport pick-up on the first day to the departure from Kathmandu on the last day was done on time.

Our trekking guide Arun, his assistant Deepak, and porters Dhan and Chandru made sure that our team of 4 not only succeeded reaching the base camp but also accommodated all our unending requests enthusiastically never once losing their patience. The help extended by them on the trail and at the tea houses is greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. One example is that the porters Chandru and Dhan always returned to the trail after dropping their bags in the tea houses and then carried our bags if needed and gave us a helping hand in climbing steep hills etc.

Our guide Arun was very knowledgeable and a patient gentleman. Some other guides we met on the trail told us that he is one of the top 10 guides in Nepal. They definitely were not exaggerating, Nepal Hiking Group made arrangement for us to stay at the Woodapple Hotel in Thamel area of Kathamandu and we were extremely happy with the upgraded rooms provided and the food at the hotel. Apart from there, the trekking guide assigned to us is well trained and experienced. In additional, the porter assigned to us is very funny and friendly although he couldn't speak much in English but he still try his best to communicate to us.
