Once we landed at Kathmandu, we were assisted at every point of the way. From hotel pickups to domestic flights to permits.

During the trek, we were really thankful to our thoughtful guide Ganesh, who set a comfortable pace, made sure we have enough rest stops and took care of our meals, WiFi and the occasional gas-powered showers. Special mention to our superhuman porter too, who arrived earlier than us despite the much heavier load he carried.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and felt safe at all times. Highly recommended.

And he will happily do whatever he can to make your journey better, and he also likes playing card games! Porters we got was excellent and did more than we could expect them to do. Hotels in Kathmandu and guesthouses along the trek were also above expectations, meals great too - but try to stick to the local food options, as western options might disappoint you. All meals and tea/coffee included during the trek. If you look at all the inclusions, quality of staff and guesthouses, I don't think any other hiking/travelling company can match Nepal Hiking Team. We did EBC + chola pass + gokyo package. Highly recommended!

Our guide Pawan, assistant guide Shree Krishna and porters... read more Ramcharan, Santhosh and Lakman were all truly great, caring deeply for each of us in our trekking team. They helped us every step of the way constantly offering us help, guidance and assistance. Pawan, Shree Krishna and Ramcharan were all very experienced and knowledgeable about the Everest Base Camp trek always giving us a lot of background and related information at every turn. Sincerely volunteering help all the time is a rarity and we found it to be abundant with this guiding team. They assisted us every day of this trek in so very many ways and for that I am truly thankful to each of them. Pawan was great as the guide personally making sure each of us is comfortable all the time.
Ganga, the CEO of Nepal Hiking Team took great care in planning and organizing this trek in every detail and that is what made this trek a very memorable experience for us. He even handled some unexpected situations really well and very quickly - assisted by our guide Pawan. Shree Krishna is certified to be a full guide and is ready to take that responsibility. He has very good organizing and communication skills necessary for a guide. And Ramcharan is ready to take on the role of an assistant guide. I strongly recommend and urge Ganga to consider promoting each of them into their new roles soon.

On the trek itself, it would be better to do the Annapurna Base Camp and Poon Hill from October onwards as we went mid-September and the rainy weather conditions were still monsoon like. If we go back to do another trek in Nepal, will definitely use this agency again.
