Always caring and fun, he certainly improved the experience and got us where we needed to go. Assistant guide Rajesh, ever silent, was diligent in his work as well as our porters. Only hiccup was that we were unable to get flights to/from Kathmandu and Lukla so had to use a neighbouring airport instead, this did mean we got to see a bit more of the country though. I was traveling solo and had practically booked my tickets to Kathmandu one day before leaving, purely based on the confidence and reassurance of Ganga - all arrangements were seamless and made right from the moment I landed in Kathmandu. Monsoons are a tricky time to do the circuit, but it offers a different kind of charm and the routes are practically empty, you would be able to experience the magic of the mountains practically alone and it's immensely peaceful. The tea-house towns are empty and you get the pick of the rooms. Nepal Hiking Team arranged for the best tea-houses in every town we stayed in, had the luxury of getting rooms with the best view and attached bathrooms throughout.

I did several chopping and changes to the itinerary to fancy my whims, Ganga and his team were always available and accomodative in the best way possible. Stayed back in Manang for four days and to visit off route Milarepa's Cave and explore the villages before returning to Pokhara and Kathmandu for extended stays. They made both stays extremely well facilitated in extremely good hotels.

A special mention to the Gokarna and Uttam, the boys who shadowed me throughout the trek, looking out for very comfort and helping navigate the tricky monsoon weather and terrain. They're also mini Tik Tok celebrities in their own right and will keep you entertained with their antics.

Nepal has a lot to discover, but if you are looking for a solid foothold to start your voyage, don't think twice before getting in touch with Ganga and team.

He also took care of postponing the tour itself because during the planned period the tail of the monsoon was still affecting the country.

The sightseeing part was a neat discovery and the tour guide was always very knowledgeable explaining elements of the country's history and society.

But the main part was the trekking. My guide Ganesh and the porter Rabin proved to be so supportive and attentive I could only focus on the trekking leaving all the rest to their care.

I'm really grateful to the whole team for the unforgettable memories I got during the trip to this amazing country.

From airport pick-up on the first day to the departure from Kathmandu on the last day was done on time.

Our trekking guide Arun, his assistant Deepak, and porters Dhan and Chandru made sure that our team of 4 not only succeeded reaching the base camp but also accommodated all our unending requests enthusiastically never once losing their patience. The help extended by them on the trail and at the tea houses is greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. One example is that the porters Chandru and Dhan always returned to the trail after dropping their bags in the tea houses and then carried our bags if needed and gave us a helping hand in climbing steep hills etc.

Our guide Arun was very knowledgeable and a patient gentleman. Some other guides we met on the trail told us that he is one of the top 10 guides in Nepal. They definitely were not exaggerating, Nepal Hiking Group made arrangement for us to stay at the Woodapple Hotel in Thamel area of Kathamandu and we were extremely happy with the upgraded rooms provided and the food at the hotel.
