  Me and my 15 year old teen joined the 9 day Annapurna Base Camp Trek and were well taken care of during the entire trek.

Pre-trek, the owner Ganga... read more was very responsive in answering my queries and even took the initiative to tweak the itinerary to better fit our flight schedule, at no additional cost.

Once we landed at Kathmandu, we were assisted at every point of the way. From hotel pickups to domestic flights to permits.

During the trek, we were really thankful to our thoughtful guide Ganesh, who set a comfortable pace, made sure we have enough rest stops and took care of our meals, WiFi and the occasional gas-powered showers. Special mention to our superhuman porter too, who arrived earlier than us despite the much heavier load he carried.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and felt safe at all times. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I developed altitude sickness so couldn’t complete the trip, but I’m leaving this... read more review to tell you how wonderful Nepal Hiking Team was in taking care of me. They allowed us to stay at one location for an extra night to see if I could acclimate. When that didn’t work, Ganga arranged a helicopter evacuation and hospital stay. He came and visited me in the hospital and worked on arrangements to allow me to re-join the trip in Pokhara. NHT completely and thoroughly took care of me, and I felt very safe. I would have no hesitation traveling with NHT again. And our guide and porter were terrific as well.

We stepped back in time and visited some of the... read more most beautiful remote villages on our way to ABC.

The Annapurna Sanctuary showcased an exceptional amphitheatre of rock and ice on a glorious scale. We traversed many lowland villages, meadows and rice terraces, rivers, endless steps to experience glaciers and gigantic peaks.

Our guide Raj was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and focused on our safety.

Our all inclusive trek included a wonderful variety of food, landscape and accommodation.

Our stay (pre tour) in Katmandu was wonderful and our 3 days in Pokhara (post tour) was a cultural highlight of our visit to Nepal.

We recommend the Nepal Hiking Team and will be returning in the years ahead to experience more of the Annapurna Sanctuary.

  I just completed the trek to Everest Base Camp (EBC) with the Nepal Hiking team (NHT). From start to finish the NHT was there to answer numerous pre-trip questions... read more and continuous support during the trek. Ganga and his staff were always there to provide whatever support we needed. As we had a couple days in Kathmandu before the trek began, ( I highly recommend including a couple of days to adjust before starting the trek.) Ganga arranged for a fantastic tour of Kathmandu. Throughout the entire trip everyone from NHT was on-time and ready to make our experience the best possible.

On the trek, our guide Raj and our porter Kumar were literally there every step of the way with us...constant support, advice and encouragement. We couldn't ask for better. Raj was continually working to make sure we had the best accommodations, food, trekking support, access to wifi, taking pictures (even sharing on Facebook and post trip communication), and any need that came up. Kumar was not just our porter but part of the team...he provided support in so many ways from picking up dropped trekking poles to providing us apples and pomegranates with dinner. He even waited to wave us goodbye at Lukla airport.

We made it to EBC only through the continuous support of Raj, Kumar and the NHT. I have absolutely zero reservations in recommending Ganga and his NHT to anyone wanting to explore Nepal. It was an experience I will fondly remember forever!
