I went on the trek with 3 friends and a mother and son joined our group as well. Ganga was very accommodating and friendly before we left Kathmandu. He made sure we were well prepped and ready to take off. One girl had a delay in her Kathmandu arrival, but they figured out a work around and got her caught up to us on day 1 of the trip!

Raj was an incredible guide. He was so knowledgeable about all the endless questions we asked and assisted us in every way possible to make the trek an enjoyable one!

Each time a medical concern came up, our guides were there to help. They gave us food recommendations, made sure we had tea, told us stories, reminded us to stay hydrated, made sure we were warm sleeping at night, and so much more. They were very attentive to each one of us.

I would love to go back to Nepal and try other treks and I will definitely go through this real again. Thank you guys for such a great trip, I can’t wait to see you all again in the future!

On the trek itself, it would be better to do the Annapurna Base Camp and Poon Hill from October onwards as we went mid-September and the rainy weather conditions were still monsoon like. If we go back to do another trek in Nepal, will definitely use this agency again.

We felt like we were well looked after throughout the whole trip, from airport pickup/drop off to the excellent Hotel services. We did the trek in mid October and the hiking conditions were beyond expectation. The pace of the trek allowed us to really enjoy the scenery, each location of the guesthouses and also helped us to acclimatise as we did not suffer with any altitude sickness. Our tour guide Puspa was very good, he took good care of us, made us feel comfortable and safe with his expertise and was approachable. We were so grateful to our porter who also worked so hard everyday. The teahouses/guesthouses are full of character and we really enjoyed our stay. The food was also excellent and usually plentiful. On the trek the terrain was quite varied through lush green forests to mountains and past rivers/waterfalls and near rice patty fields. Everyday we were spoilt with the most beautiful scenery. The trek was challenging but rewarding and not too difficult. We loved our holiday so much we would love to do EBC with NHT! Tip: we highly recommend paying the extra money to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara as the road conditions were quite poor and due to traffic.

The Nepal Hiking Team were incredible from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. We had a fantastic couple of days in Kathmandu and were taken on a full day tour of 3 historically and culturally important areas by our great guide, Ramesh. After settling into Nepal, we headed off to Lukla to start our trek and met Paban, our trekking guide who was the best guide we could have hoped for! From the first day, he always made sure we got the most out of our days and experienced everything in the best possible light, he also kept us calm and made sure we feeling good but also never freaked out if we did experience normal symptoms from ascending in altitude! We made it through the incredibly scenic three passes, base camp, Chukkung Ri, Kalapattar and Gokyo Ri, and will take home so many amazing memories of Nepal and its people. We can't thank Paban enough for his guidance and friendship, and also Ganga for answering and meeting all of our questions along the journey. We highly recommend NHT for a locally based tour company and would use them on our next adventure in Nepal!

  Namaste! I highly recommend Nepal Hiking Team for your trekking adventure in the beautiful Himalayan Mountains of Nepal. This was my first trip to Nepal and additionally my first ever... read more muli-day trek. Annapurna Base Camp Trek became a dream of mine about a year ago after my adult son made a trip out back in 2019. Nepal Hiking Team made the trip much more enjoyable by facilitating rides to and from the airport in Kathmandu, answering any questions or concerns promptly and being courteous and helpful. Of course I have to give a shout out to my guide for the ABC trek Dipendra and also the porter Gakul!!! Dipendra did an exceptional job of making the trip as smooth as can be expected! In every village he booked me the best room available with mountain views, helped with ordering food and making sure I was comfortable. On the trail Dipendra carefully monitored my condition and frequently checked in with how I was feeling. As it turned out I was able to keep a pretty good pace (I'm a 56 year old man in decent shape) and we arrived at Annapurna Base Camp a day ahead of schedule (which was fortunate because clouds moved in the next day). Gakul was very strong and always made sure my duffle bag was in my room when we arrived in the next village. Dipendra and Gakul also made the evening time fun by inviting me to play card games in the tea house common area. If you get a chance learn the game Dumbal - it's fun! Dipendra also guided me in Pokhara where we saw the peace pagoda, Hindu temple caves and the International Mountaineering Museum. In conclusion, Ganga, Dipendra and Gakul with Nepal Hiking Team provided excellent service worth every dollar. I will definitely use their services again when I return. I'm already thinking about Everest Base Camp or Manaslu Circuit!
