The tea houses we stayed in were the best available and the food was great for the location. We had delays due to several bad weather in Lukla on our return to Kathmandu of which Ganga kept in touch each day to provide Jeeps for the journey and we even got a refund on our flight tickets. On return to our hotel Ganga upgraded our hotel room at the Apple Wood Hotel due to the delay of which was fantastic and appreciated. The whole experience would not have been so memorable without the assistance of Ganga and I would personally recommend anyone planning the Everest Base Camp Trek to book through Nepal Hiking Team as they performed better than we could ever have ever expected.

He was very responsive and took good care of me until I returned to Kathmandu. Also, during the trekking, he accurately answered questions about full-scale mountaineering techniques in various scenes, which was very useful for my future mountaineering. The Nepal Hiking Team were incredible from the moment we landed in Kathmandu. We had a fantastic couple of days in Kathmandu and were taken on a full day tour of 3 historically and culturally important areas by our great guide, Ramesh. After settling into Nepal, we headed off to Lukla to start our trek and met Paban, our trekking guide who was the best guide we could have hoped for! From the first day, he always made sure we got the most out of our days and experienced everything in the best possible light, he also kept us calm and made sure we feeling good but also never freaked out if we did experience normal symptoms from ascending in altitude! We made it through the incredibly scenic three passes, base camp, Chukkung Ri, Kalapattar and Gokyo Ri, and will take home so many amazing memories of Nepal and its people. We can't thank Paban enough for his guidance and friendship, and also Ganga for answering and meeting all of our questions along the journey. We highly recommend NHT for a locally based tour company and would use them on our next adventure in Nepal!
