Sikles Trek Introduction

One of the shortest trekking destinations in Nepal is Sikles. Sikles trek lies in the Kaski district and is a famous trekking route among trekkers. Sikles is a charming village that leads you to beautiful mountain views, terraced lands, and high alpine meadows. It is one of the alternative short treks in the Annapurna region. This trek also includes camping which will give us adventurous vibes. The routes are full of blooming rhododendrons and the chirping of birds.

This trail is famous as Prince Charles had a trek through this area in 1980. You can enjoy the view of Annapurna II (7937m) and Annapurna IV (7525m).

The trail passes through Gurung village to learn about the Gurung community’s traditions and way of life. The trail passes through Gurung village, where one can acknowledge the practice and lifestyle of the Gurung community. You can also visit the Rishi Danda, from where you will get a perfect viewpoint of the fantastic mountain views.

Along with Mt. Annapurna, we will get a view of Lamjung, Manaslu, and more. The trail will reach up to 2000m above sea level, so there won’t be any altitude problems. The trail passes through ancient gompas and also passes through Madi Khola. You will mainly see the houses built up of mud and rocks.

Since the trail passes through Pokhara, we will have a short time to capture the beautiful places in Pokhara. The trek offers you an unspoiled nature to explore. This trek can be suitable for those trekkers in Nepal for a short period and can be ideal for beginners. The Gurung village is one of the highlights of this trip with authentic cultures.
